Little Blue Trace

The Little Blue Trace is a nature preserve along the Little Blue River in Eastern Jackson County, extending from northeastern Independence to Longview Lake in Lee's Summit. An 11 mile trail is in place from Blue Mills Road to I-70, with a 3.5 mile extension planned southwest to Lee's Summit Road in 2008.
