The upcoming election for a new mayor and city council is a very important one. A lot of momentum is forming on bike/ped issues, and we have some great opportunities to elect bike/ped-friendly candidates and see real progress in 2007. The members of the Kansas City Coalition for Walking and Bicycling have a combined membership of over 2,000 in Kansas City, MO and over 10,000 throughout Missouri. Constituent organizations include: Kansas City Bicycle Club, Missouri Bicycle Federation, Northland Trails and Greenways, and Kansas City Track Club.
