With our overwhelming national debt, is this really what we need to be spending money on at this time? I drive to and from work along Merriam Drive and Southwest Blvd. every day. I see one to two bicyclists on that road, and they’re not even there every day. Maybe the feds should stop funding these kinds of wasteful projects and pay down our staggering debt!

I’m excited that they finally got around to adding some! You would think that the farmers market would have had them already. Locking up to the fence, or a street sign just didn’t make sense for that area.

I love this trail. I was thrilled to hear another mile will be added to the new extension. I hope KCMO & Jackson County can continue to push to get the next 12 miles mentioned in last Sunday’s paper to reality. With that complete, Little Blue and Longview Trails will connect and provide lots of miles to travel.
