Trail Closure Today

The Star reports that the Johnson County’s Mill Creek Streamway trail is closed today at College Boulevard for bridge construction.  It is hoped to re-open tomorrow.

National Trails Day

June 2nd is National Trails Day, and the KC region has several events planned on local trails.  Check out the Mid-America Regional Council’s list of all trail events.

KCMO is planning for a new multi-use trail along Line Creek and Second Creek in the Northland. It’s part of a longer MetroGreen corridor that will eventually extend from the Missouri River in Riverside up to Smithville. Jackson County is proposing a new multi-use trail to link the towns of Buckner and Sibley in the north part of the county.
