KC has a Halloween ride for all persuasions: roadie, fixie, singletrack, or ‘cross.
Thursday: KCBC Brookside Ride
The weekly ride will deviate from its normal route to check out some egregious decorated houses in Brookside, Prairie Village, and Mission Hills. Ride leaves at 6:30 p.m. from the Roasterie Cafe in BKS, lights required and costumes encouraged.
Friday: Critical Mass
Halloween mass is always a great time and one of the biggest groups of people. Costumes are highly, highly encouraged. The ride leaves at 6:30ish pm from Marsh’s Sunfresh in Westport.
Saturday: Cyclocross
While not Halloween specific, Boss Cross #3 in the Northland is likely to have some interestingly ghoulish shenanigans.
Saturday: Alleycat race, costume contest, and 816 Bike Collective fundraiser
The Bicycle Bang Gang has an Alleycat relay race and costume contest in Westport around 11:00 p.m. Get the deets on Facebook.
Weekend: Mountain Biking and camping
