Bicycle Polo 101 this weekend

Update: Event moved to Sunday the 28th.

This weekend there is a great opportunity to learn about and practice bicycle polo, a growing sport here in Kansas City. This event is especially geared towards the curious and first-timers.

Kansas City Bicycle Polo is hosting an Expo on March 27th. We want Kansas Citians to see what our club is all about and to learn how to play hardcourt bike polo. This event will comprise of spectators and players who are new to the sport. If you have never played before but have wanted to try it out, this event is for you! If you have never heard of this sport and you’d like to check it out, this is for you, too! All are welcome.

Things you need to know about the Expo:

  • We will start at 12pm on March 27th, but feel free to show up any time
  • The event will be at Holmes Park Hockey Court on 70th and Holmes
  • All you need to bring is yourself and preferably a bicycle
  • Helmets are recommended but not required
  • We will provide some beverages and some grilled food
  • There will be prizes
  • You do not need to form a team or have any knowledge of the sport at all

    THE EXPO HAS CHANGED TO SUNDAY, MARCH 28TH.

    Saturday will be rained out, so we’re changing to day to Sunday. Same time and same place. 12pm at Holmes Park. I’m sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks!
