Tonight the weekly Brookside Thursday Ride will be getting into the holiday spirit with a tour of Christmas light displays around Brookside and Northeast Johnson County. Rumor has it Santa might even ditch the reindeer for the evening switch to pedal power.
The ride leaves at 6:30 p.m. from the parking lot behind the The Roasterie Cafe, 62nd Terrace at Brookside Boulevard. This is always a very fun ride, and many people stop at Charlie Hoopers for sustenance after wards.
