New trail segment in blue.
Construction is in full swing on the first segment of the Line Creek Trail in Platte County. This segment runs along the east side of the Platte Brooke neighborhood, from NW 68th to about NW 75th. The entire trail will eventual go from the Missouri River to Smithville Lake. The City Council’s Transportation & Infrastructure Committee has an update on construction progress. If the weather cooperates, this segment should be open by the end of November.
