Bicycle Advocate Laurie Chipman on the radio tonight
Tonight at 7:00 p.m. community radio station KKFI will feature bicycle advocate Laurie Chipman talking about the local bicycle scene. Laurie has been active in bicycle advocacy for several years, lobbying the City Council and other officials for better facilities and more funding. She has served on the boards of the Kansas City Bicycle Club, the Missouri Bicycle Federation, Let's Go KC Alliance for Transportation Choice, and the city and metro bicycle/pedestrian advisory committees. Laurie also leads the weekly Thursday night Brookside ride for KCBC.
