Tour of Missouri organizers have just released detailed maps of each race stage. This year Stage 7 in KC will be a circuit race in and around Downtown. The course includes neighborhoods like Power & Light District, Quality Hill, River Market, Columbus Park, the riverfront, Crown Center, and the Westside. The festival grounds will be around Washington Square Park, Union Station, and Crown Center. The course has two King of the Mountain points on the Westside at Liberty Memorial.

Any word on them doing a ride for amateurs on the course the day before like they did last year? That was fabulous!

The “amateur” ride this year is the AIDS Bicycle Challenge on Sept. 12th. It’s the official ToM charity ride this year, although I don’t think it is following the same course.
