The City Council has just funded $1.5 million trail projects for the 2009-2010 fiscal year. These are individual projects chosen at the discretion of the Council Members and PIAC reps in each district, so please take a minute to write them a thank you note.
Line Creek Trail - $575,000 for construction (2nd District)
Trolley Track to Indian Creek Trail Connection – $250,000 for design and engineering (4th, 5th and 6th Districts)
Little Blue Trace Trail - $500,000 for design and construction (5th District)
Katy Trail Corridor - $10,000 for corridor appraisal (5th District)
Blue River Trail – $198,000 for land acquisition and trail construction (6th District)
