The KC Ultra Cycling Club has posted their 2009 brevet calendar at kcbrevets.blogspot.com. For the uninitiated, brevets are long-distance timed rides. You might might heard of the famous Paris-Brest-Paris brevet. (Hat tip to Commuter Dude).

The City Council has just funded $1.5 million trail projects for the 2009-2010 fiscal year.  These are individual projects chosen at the discretion of the Council Members and PIAC reps in each district, so please take a minute to write them a thank you note.
