Trails KC Plan goes to City Council committees

Trails KC, the new plan for a city-wide trail network, continues to go through the legislative process. This week is the first of two hearings before City Council committees. While it appears that the plan has good support among Councilmembers, it always helps to  have some warm bodies in the hearing room. Trails KC is the first item on the agenda for this week's meeting, so that would be the easiest one to do a pop-in. Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Wednesday October 30th, 10:00 a.m. 24th Floor Committee Room Planning and  Zoning Committee Wednesday November 3rd, 1:30 a.m. City Council Chambers, 26th Floor City Hall is at 414 East 12th Street, at the corner of 12th and Oak (map/directions).  A bike rack is located on the south side of the building, just to the right of the 12th Street entrance.  Car parking is available in the public garage on the northwest corner of 12th and Oak.
