A bicyclist has hit and injured on the Country Club Plaza today. KCTV-5 reports that a motorist failed to yield to the bicycle while he was making a left turn at 46th Terrace and J.C. Nichols Parkway. According to the KCTV video, the KCPD did not ticket the motorist even though they indicated he was at fault. Without knowing the details of the crash, it does seem like another instance of police refusing to enforce laws when motorists hurt bicyclists. It’s hard to imagine the police not ticketing a motorist making a left turn into oncoming automobile traffic.
