I cross the 87th St. bridge twice a day, 5-6 days a week. It is, by far, the most dangerous part of my bike commute. Sorry to hear about the accident. I would like to hear more details. My practice is to become part of the traffic. I must turn S. on Quivira, from eastbound 87th St. Taking the "sidewalk" is much slower and, IMO, even more dangerous, considering all the access ramp crossings. Any suggestions?
