MoBikeFed’s second annual Bicycle Day at the Capitol. It’s a great opportunity to meet your state reps and talk to them one-on-one about bicycling issues. Things like funding bike facilities, improving roadway safety, and prosecuting motorists who kill or injure cyclists. This is your chance to bug your reps about the Paseo Bridge, MoDOT,
The day starts early and it’s a three hour drive, so several of us from KC are going down the night before. Amtrak’s Missouri service is a great bargain. $40 round trip right to the foot of the Capitol building, with a second ticket half off.
