Acme Bicycle Company, the Greater KC Bicycle Federation and the 816 Bike Collective are joining forces to present KC Rides, the first-ever festival of locally-produced bicycle films. It’s taking place in spring of 2009, and you have until December 2008 to shoot your opus and enter the juried competition.

I love the contrast of a giant bike-eating grate on right next to one the few “share the road” signs in the KCMO city limits. I think it’s rather symbolic of how things seem to be here in KC some times.
