Update on Gaunt case
Published December 26th, 2007 in Crashes
Brad Gaunt has sent out an update on the legal case against William Johnson, the motorist who killed Larry and Sierra Gaunt back in August. Thanks to pressure from the Gaunt family and bicyclists in the KCĀ region, the Jackson County Prosecutor is moving forward to hold Johnson accountable.
Johnson has been indicted on two counts of 2nd degree involuntary manslaughter, which carries a sentence of up to seven years for each count. The trial is expected to take place sometime between July and September of 2008.
