Last month a deal was announced to extend the Katy Trail to the Kansas City metro area. It’s part of a bigger settlement over the Taum Sauk dam collapse and subsequent destruction of Johnson Shut-Ins State Park. This settlement is in open for public comment and is important that the judge hear from people who want to make sure the Katy Trail connection is included in the final agreement.
