Today Mission Road in Fairway closed for an entire year for a bridge replacement at Shawnee Mission Parkway. Mission Road is a popular route for bike commuters, so here is a possible bike-friendly detour.

a better way is 58th / Sheridan / Brookridge

Oh no, stay away from the Sheridan route. There is no traffic light and crossing shawnee mission parkway at rush hour is very dangerous. Using belinder lets you cross with the light.
