Many of you know Laurie Chipman as the leader of KCBC’s Thursday Brookside ride. Or as KCBC’s Advocacy Chair. Or as a founder and former Vice-President of the Missouri Bicycle Federation. Now we all know her as the winner of an Environmental Excellence Award from Bridging the Gap. Laurie was nominated by more than 100 local cyclists for her work to promote bicycling and walking as viable transportation alternatives in the Kansas City metro area.
Please consider joining Laurie, her friends, and other award winners at an awards ceremony on October 10th at the KCMO Central Library. More info from Bridging the Gap.
