Tour of Missouri folks just released the details of Stage 1, to be held in and around Kansas City. The 85 mile stage begins and ends on the Country Club Plaza. It will start out by heading straight up Main Street to Downtown, passing though Midtown and the Crossroads Arts District. From there it heads across the river on the Heart of America Bridge, up through NKC, and Hwy 9 to Parkville. Then the route takes Hwy 45 on big loop up to Platte City and back south, returning again through Parkville to Downtown and the Plaza. Finally, the route will head south on Ward Parkway and loop around the Meyer Circle fountain.
