On Saturday a ghost bike will be placed at the intersection of Independence and Brooklyn Avenues in the city’s Old Northeast area in memory of Michael Hammond, who was hit and killed last Saturday.  If you want to ride with other bicyclists then please meet at 3:00 p.m. at Acme Bicycle Company, 18th and Locust in the Crossroads.  It’s just a short two-mile ride over to the crash site.
