Platte County seeking citizen input
Published June 27th, 2007 in Advocacy, planningPlatte County is working on a new master plan and is seeking citizens to participate in focus groups in July. This is a great opportunity for bicyclists to speak up for better facilities and policies in this booming part of the city. The county is already poised to become a metro leader in multi-use trails, thanks to a dedicated sales tax that funds trail building - now they just need to begin integrating on-street bicycle facilities into their transportation system.
If you live in Platte County and want to participate in a focus group, fill out this application (MS Word). You can also find out more about the county’s master plan process at www.platteprofile.com.
