The season’s first Ozone Alert has been issued for Friday.  It’s an Orange Alert, which means the air quality will be bad enough to affect children and adult with respiratory or cardiovascular problems.  Healthy folks might also notice some effects.

Everyone is encourage to limit strenuous outside activity between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.  If you drive, do less of it and don’t put gas in your vehicle tomorrow.  Also refrain from using gas-powered lawn mowers and other equipment. KC and Joco buses will offer special 50 cent fares all day.
