The general public is invited to meet the MTB  community from the Kansas City and Lawrence regions, to learn about the sport of mountain biking, to see demonstrations of mountain biking skills, and to learn about the efforts of the local clubs to grow the sport. Families, friends, and beginning riders are encouraged to attend. All activities geared toward introducing the sport of MTB to those who are new or unfamiliar.
