Planners are studying improvements for Lee’s Summit Road, south of US 40 along the KCMO/Lee’s Summit border. This is a key north/south road that really needs to be improved for motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians alike.
On June 7 an open house will allow folks to see plans for the road and provide feedback. It’s important for bicyclists to show up and ask for both on-street facilities and a trail.
