Published May 15th, 2007 in Crashes, Rides, life
Please join your fellow cyclists on Wednesday for the Ride of Silence to memorialize those who have died or been injured on their bikes. Since 1991 there have been 28 bike fatalities in the KC metro area, many of them bike commuters. Wednesday’s ride will be slow-paced on residential streets in Brookside and Northeast Johnson County. A couple hundred riders are expected, plus some City Council members and television reporters.
