Independence Optimist Ride

April 28, 2007
8:30 amto2:00 pm

Let’s all plan to ride this Saturday, April 28th, and support the Independence Optimist Club Pancake Breakfast. Pick your breakfast time - either before or after the ride. Heck, eat before, eat afterwards, and invite your family - it’s all for a great cause! The Optimists are serving from 7:00A to 2:00P at the East Alton Community of Christ Church, 16999 E. 23rd St., Independence, MO 64057. That’s just one block east of Highway 291 and 78 Highway (23rd Street) just west of Medical Center of Independence Hospital.

We’ll ride from the Church at 8:30A and head out to Fort Osage and Buckner returning all the way up US 78 from Lake City to the church. Round trip depending on your route (and we’ll have 3) will be 15, 27 or 37 miles. Many of you are already familiar with the routes. For those who want to eat early, we’ll begin gathering at 7:30A. Hope to see you there.

Let us know if you’re planning to ride and desired route length.
This will help us make sure we have maps for everyone. - NO ONE WILL BE LEFT BEHIND!
