The Midwest Fat Tire Championship Series kicks off this weekend with mountain bike and duathalon events in Lawrence, KS.  In two weeks the series continues in Potosi, MO.

Columbia gets Bike Messengers

Three members of the Mizzou cycling team have started what is probably the state’s first bike messenger service. Columbia Couriers is a new company born out of an MU business competition.

Buckner-Sibley Trail proposed

Jackson County is proposing a new multi-use trail to link the towns of Buckner and Sibley in the north part of the county. The 3 mile trail would mostly parellel Buckner-Tarsney Road and include the Fort Osage historic site on the Missouri River. The route is generally flat and runs through open country. [...]
