Bike Across Kansas has posted the route for the annual trek across the state that’s flatter than a pancake.
This year’s single route begins in Tribune, 15 miles east of the Colorado border. It’s all down hill from there, ending by dipping your tires in the Missouri River in Elwood.
The event takes place from June 9th to June 16.

I’m still fat and out of shape, I’ve been cycling less than half a year, but I really thing I want to get set for this. I should have a few weeks of vacation time at my disposal in a few months.
I’m going! I did it once before in 2004, and while I was a good 30 years younger then the average BAK’er, I had a blast.
