Olathe, KS planners have shared more info on the bike plan I mentioned last week. The idea is to create an integrated network of both on-street bike routes and off-street trails. Tonight you can stop by their city hall to learn more about the plan.

At the recent Missouri Trails Summit I sat in on a presentation on the new Vivion Trail, a multi-use trail being built alongside Vivion Road. This road is a major east-west artery through the Northland, but it's unimproved without shoulders, curbs, sidewalks, etc. The addition of bike/ped facilities is long overdue.
