Save the Katy Bridge Festival
Published September 22nd, 2006 in Advocacy, events, trails
The fine folks of Boonville are organizing a second annual festival to raise money and awareness of the Blunt administration's attempts give away the historic Katy Railroad Bridge. This would not only remove a piece of Boonville's history, but potentially jeopardize the very existence of the nationally-beloved Katy Trail State Park. So head out to Boonville for an afternoon of music, food, and fun. They also offer a bicycle ride on the Katy Trail from McBaine or Rocheport to Boonville.
