Clay County trails tax proposed
Published September 18th, 2006 in Mountain biking, News, suburbs, trailsClay County Commissioner Larry Larson is proposing a sales tax to finance expansion of the county's trail system, along with other recreational facilities. This would be a way for the county to fund its half of the Northland Trails Plan. Platte County already has a half-cent sales tax that is funding its half of the plan, including projects like the NW 64th Street trail and the upcoming Riverside Levee Trail.
