Speeding is citizens’ top police priority
Published September 13th, 2006 in Advocacy
Encouraging news for cyclists… A recent UMKC survey of crime concerns found that speeding is the top priority for KCMO residents. This should help us with demands for better enforcement of speed limits and dangerous driving laws. It's also certain to be another argument in favor of the red light cameras coming soon to the city.
Things like bike lanes, pedestrian bridges, etc. are all great, but in the end we still depend on motorists driving safely and legally. This survey shows that the majority of Kansas Citians want the KCPD to enforce our safe driving laws.
