Bike rentals

I occasionally get questions about where to rent a bike in KC, which can be a challenge since our city is not known for bicycle tourism. So far I have found two bike shops that offer rentals. If you know of any others please leave a comment.
River Market Cyclery
Located just north of the Downtown Loop and adjacent to the City Market.

Nothing but kudos for the Bike Shack; Chris and his gang are some of the nicest people you’ll meet in KC.
Likewise, kudos for River Market Cyclery. There are definitely the best of the Downtown/Midtown bike shops, and very convenient for folks visiting from out of town. Great mechanics and great service. I’ve sent a few people there for rentals and all have been happy.
