The levees along the Missouri and Kansas Rivers provide excellent opportunities for some amazing riverfront trails in our area. The Corps of Engineers is finishing a new master plan for the region's seven levees, and now is the time to demand access to these publicly-subsidized facilities. Levee trails have been safely and successfully built all over the country, so there is no reason why the same amenities can't be built here in Kansas City.
