Kansas City area bicyclists, runners, and walkers,

If you are interested in making Kansas City a better, safer place to bicycle, walk, and run, please plan to attend the Kansas City Bicycle/Pedestrian Roundtable sponsored by the Missouri Bicycle Federation.

The Roundtable will be held Monday, July 10th, 6:30PM, in the "Film Vault", Kansas City Central Library, 14 West 10th Street, Kansas City, MO 64105.

We would like to hear from YOU–what do you consider the most important things to do in the Kansas City area? What are your top priorities?

Right now Kansas City has one of the poorest environments for walking and bicycling of any major U.S. city. Our walking and bicycling rates are less than half the national average (4.3% of trips in KC are bicycling & walking, compared with 9.5% nationwide–and typically higher in metro areas).

So given our current situation, how can different area groups and individuals work together to change Kansas City for the better?

That is what we would like to talk about.

Please feel free to come and share your thoughts and ideas with us!

Email or call me if you have any questions (brent@brenthugh.com or 816-356-1740).

Please forward this announcement to appropriate bicycling, walking, and running groups in the Kansas City area.
